Letzter Tanz aka Danny was incredible at our first show together after having him for only 2 weeks. He gained 69.09% in the Medium 69 to come second to my wonderful trainer! And 68.9% in the Medium 75 to win overall. At only 7 years old he is going to make someone a wonderful horse!

Good day at saddlesdane yesterday finishing qualifying Jane Pether 's Falsetto for elementary regionals with scores of 71% and 68.9% to win both classes. Lovely to see familiar faces there doing very well also!

Great morning at Blue Barn Equestrian competing Hazelhope Jackpot owned by Mandy Southern gaining over 68% and 73% at his first ever show. Am so over the moon with this horse and feel very lucky to be a part of his journey from such a young age. Falsetto also stepped up winning both Elementaries overall on over 68% on his second time at this level.

Another great day for the team at Bury Farm Equestrian Village High profile show, Diva Dior coming 3rd in the Novice and Falsetto coming 5th, Breitlings Innocent Wonder coming 4th in the Elementary and Falsetto coming 6th. Wodan didn't let the side down gaining 67% in the High Profile PSG which means we are now eligible for International competition! So pleased with these horses and couldn't do it without this wonderful team behind us! @corkfarmequestrian @gillshorsebitadvice

Really great first day at Bury Farm High Profile . Jane Pether 's Falsetto came 2nd in the first novice with 72% and 5th in the second novice with 69%. Debbie Roberts' Diva Dior strutted her stuff to gain 68% to finish 8th in the same novice. Louise Laker' s Breitlings Innocent Wonder then came 2nd in the Elementary qualifier on 71% and last but not least Karen Wright 's beautiful boy Wodan came 11th out of 26 in the PSG with 66%.

Good day at Blue Barn Equestrian Centre competing Fritz, Tilly and Hugo. Fritz won both Elementaries and gained 68.6% in the qualifier. Tilly won the first Medium on 67% having not been out in months and then we lost energy for the second test. Then Hugo gained 66.5% in both Advanced Mediums to win with some green mistakes. This boy has a super attitude towards his work Thank you to Caroline Hadris, Debbie Roberts and Louise Laker for all of their help so I could ride 6 tests in 3 hours!

What a way to end Hickstead premier league by gaining 69.7% in the PSG Freestyle to finish 5th. Then going on to come 3rd in the Dressage Masters Small Tour Championship! Great show so far at Oldencraig with Diva Dior gaining 70% and 70.57% in the Novices. Diva is really starting to relax, with 5 8's we cannot wait for when she gets stronger.

We finished the wet day at Oldencraig running through the Inter 2 with Wodan gaining 69.47% and winning the PYO. The canter work was softer and had more energy, so proud of our boy! Now to find more activity in the passage. Thank you Tania Kemsley for being super groom and Wodan's Chauffeur. Great to see Josh Hill Dressage and @sarah Williams killing it as always.

Today we did our first Grand Prix class at Merrist Wood Arena with Debby Lush at C. First time doing this test that we have achieved 7 for our piaffe and 7 for one of the Piaffe/passage transitions! Passage needs more height but what a cool problem to have 😂 Mistakes in the zigzag and big piros lead to just shy of 63% but so happy with how we are improving together. Learn something every time we go out. After a really awful journey around Kent, Surrey and Hampshire to avoid the M25 closure on the way to Wellington we eventually arrived with 25 minutes to warm up for the Grand Prix class. Wodan was super and really tried, everything was there but we needed more throughness throughout the test (warm up would have helped 😂) Lots of 7s for our passage, 2's, 1's and full pirouette! So impressed and thank you to our team for making everything possible. @tania kemsley, Karen Wright, @karen cleave and Sharon Edwards for all of your help. Can't wait to try again!

Bright Dressage were out in force today at a local dressage show. Well done Elle Kemsley, Millie Kemsley and Steph Carter for all riding with determination and thought gaining great results. Am super chuffed with Dessie at his first show. Have been very lucky to have been able to train this horse over the past months but he will be looking for his new home in the near future.

What a day! Diva Dior owned by Debbie Roberts won both novices with 72% and 76%, Louise Laker 's Breitlings Innocent Wonder did beautiful Elementaries which we were super happy with. JBD Wodan owned by Karen Wright came a respectable 4th in the PSG and then went and won the Psg Music on 73% which means we finished 2nd overall to our wonderful trainer Sharon Edwards, qualifying for the small tour championship!

Busy day at the office, Diva Dior won the Novice 23, Figaro won his novice 37 and then gained 66.55% in his first elementary with a big blip at the start. 😂 Thank you Tania Kemsley for all of your hard work making it possible for us to go to all of these shows.

Wodan and I attended our first premier league this morning at Dressage at Hickstead. With torrential rain we lost confidence in the arena and with mistakes in the 3s and 2s we still got over 62%!
To get him a little more confident we made a last minute entry into the Psg and had one mistake in the 4s and some severe head shaking due to his wet ears 😂 gaining nearly 65%. Chuffed for our first premier league with so much more to come from him! |
